Let's call the KarunaaMurthy- the distress buster
Avoding misery is something that is not possible in this life of ours.. Unless u are an atheist , u wud normally pray god whenever u are into troubles..As a temporary relief, it is always handy to have a mantra or sumthing that wud come to our help...The following is a mantra that promises to bring relief in times of distress... YA thwarA DroupadI thrAnE yA thwarA gajarakshanE mayyarthE karunAmurthE sA thwarA kwa gathA HarE The above sloka is asking the Lord why he is not responding to our calls the he did for other devotees. No fear, ever. I am impressed with your conviction in faith. I got to find a hawaiian stress buster quote for myself. You seem to have quite a range of musical interests as well, bravo! I find music to be my antidote for times of trial, and a good jumpstart for my heart when I need it. You have deep feelings on your faith, and that is impressive.
Krishna
the wonderful verse from Mukundamala
" KRISHNO RAKSHATU NO JAGATRAYA GURU:
KRISHNAM NAMASYAAMYAHAM
KRISHNENAAMARA SHTRAVO VINIHITA:
KRISHNAAYA TASMAI NAMA:
KRISHAADEVA SAMUTTITAM JAGAD IDAM
KRISHNASYA DASOSMYAHAM
KRISHNAE TISHTATHI SARVAM ETAD AKHILAM
HEY KRISHNA RAKSHASVA MAAM!
IS A GOOD ONE. It CAN RELIEVE STRESS AND HELP YOU THINK OF KRISHNA.
Krishna is the sacred medicament that can cure the illness of samsara, he is BHAVA-BHANJANA,
what more needs to be said.
SARVAM SRI KRISHNAARPANAMASTHU!
Who is Vedanta? And what makes Krishna more special than Jesus Christ? Just wondering.
@hawaiianmark-:)
Thnks for checkin' out this blog and keep coming bak.....
btw...what is the native language of hawaii? and regarding music, i make no reservations ..am into any kind of music that catches me...
Without that faith my(our) indentity over here doesn't make much of a sense and i dont want to live my life just for the sake of living..
@anand:)
thnks for dropping in that ...u definitely are making my knowledge grow stronger...
@stan..
vedanta is not a person..its an ancient indian philosophy..
I personally would not like to answer the question on the superiority of krishna over jesus..
well,take it this way..
we all know that there is one supreme power..be it krishna,be it jesus watever...people in india saw him as Lord krishna and people in the west saw him as jesus.but essentially there is just one supreme. I think it is more important to accept whoever we think is the supreme lord and then try to reach him. tell u wat,,U won't find the answer from any human on this earth...u need to see him for urselves.don't u??? in order to see or reach him ,u can't be a human
if u are able to see him as a human wat is the difference between humans and the Supreme.
I guess watever i have been talking about might seem a bit foreign and confusing u...if so and if u are interested in knowing more, i would recommend u to start reading about vedanta without any bias (and that is very important)..Read about it as a true seeker of the One Almighty.
Aham Krishna !!
